Ha-Ha Crystal, a 100-page paperback of new essays by Chris Fite-Wassilak published by Copy Press, is available now from Foyles, Housmans, and online at Hive or Amazon, with a launch event on the 27th October at PEER.

“Written with ease and adventure, the essays within Ha-Ha Crystal have the reader moving from tetrahedrons, through comic books to the architecture of John Portman and the films of Jacque Tati.  As a host of things are put into contact with each other, thought takes shape and becomes crystalline.

‘Chris Fite-Wassilak writes like memory works. His essays move fluidly from one topic to another in cognitive association, but with a consistent rigour and tempo. Read his work and you’ll travel down a path without knowing which turns you’ve taken, only to find it was the only possible route, and you’re right where you should be.’  Adam Kaasa

Chris Fite-Wassilak is a writer and curator based in London. He frequently contributes to Art Monthly, Art Papers, Art Review, frieze, Tate Etc., and other journals.
