AICA Outing to Nottingham on 24th July
Save the date!
We will take the 9:05 train from London St Pancras and arrive at Nottingham Contemporary in time for coffees and pastries.
There will be a special visit to the Pia Camil and Trix and Robert Haussmann exhibitions, with a possible talk by Nottingham Contemporary Director Sam Thorne.
This will be followed by a walk through the city centre to Backlit Gallery for a catered lunch, followed by a visit to the exhibition ‘Mountain of Tongues’ with a talk by the gallery director Matthew Chesney and deputy director Suzanne Golden.
There will then be a tour of some studio spaces, followed by drinks and discussion focusing on the state of critical art writing in the city and surrounding area, organised by the Arts Writers Group, featuring representatives from Nottingham Trent University and local critical press.
