Ian Walker has written extensively about photography and surrealism.
Born in 1952, Ian Walker was at the time of his early retirement in 2013, Professor of Photography at the University of South Wales. He has written extensively about art and photography, with a particular emphasis on Surrealism, Documentary and the relationship between them. He has published three books and many shorter texts on the subject. In addition, he has produced a series of photographic works, which have been widely exhibited in Britain and Europe. He is now based mainly in London, and continues to write and photograph extensively.
