Born in Rome, Italy; Graduated in Law University of Rome; Fullbright Scholarship in International Law at Brandeis University near Boston USA ; Ba in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute Univ. of London; M.Phil in Combined Historical Studies in the Renaissance at the Warburg Inst. Univ. of London. Entered Educ Dept. Victoria & Albert Museum; at the V&A co-curated The Splendours of the Gonzaga Exhib 1981. Opened and Directed Accademia Italiana delle Arti in London 1987- 2002. Brought to the Accademia c. 60 Exhibitions of Italian Art, 30 of which of majour scale. Curated a number of them and wrote in most of the catalogues. Particularly my exhibitions were Italy by Moonlight, Italian Paintings from 1550 to 1700 ; Manzu' the Sculptor; the Patronage of Lorenzo the Magnificent; Futurism in Flight ; Pompeii in three version one for the the Aberdeen Museum of Art.
