Open Crit: Nigerian Modernism

AICA members and non-members please join us for our first Open Crit of 2026 for the exhibition Nigerian Modernism at Tate Modern in London.

A forum for the expression of immediate responses to art, Open Crit sessions offer an opportunity to share thoughts openly without recourse to prior knowledge of the artist’s work or curatorial intentions.

Please book your tickets in advance via the Tate website, selecting the special ‘AICA’ category on the extended dropdown list. This will secure you free admittance to the show. Please gather by the entrance of the exhibition at 11am on the day.
