Tom Trevor

Tom Trevor is a curator and writer on contemporary art. He is Associate Professor of Contemporary Art and Curation at University of Exeter. Previously he was Artistic Director of the Atlantic Project (2016-19), Guest Curator at the Whitechapel Gallery, London (2015), Artistic Director of the 4th Dojima River Biennale, Osaka (2014-15), Curatorial Consultant to ARoS Kunstmuseum, Aarhus (2014-15), Guest Curator at the Devi Art Foundation, Delhi (2013), Director of Arnolfini, Bristol (2005-13), Associate Curator of the Art Fund International collection (2007-12), Director of Spacex, Exeter (1999-2005), and an independent curator (1994-99) based in London, curating projects for institutions including the Architectural Association, Camden Arts Centre, the Freud Museum and Iniva. Over the past 20 years he has curated more than 100 exhibitions and produced more than 40 publications, placing a particular emphasis on experimental, interdisciplinary practice and context-led projects.
